A visa does not guarantee entry into the United States, but allows a foreign citizen coming from abroad, to travel to the United States port of entry (generally an airport or land border) and request permission to enter the United States.

You do not have to wait until your current visa expires. You can apply for a new visa even if your current visa is valid.

You must possess a passport valid for travel to the United States with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).

A strong travel history is an important factor when applying for US visas. While it is not a mandatory requirement, but it can significantly improve your chances of a successful application.

Reasons like financial instability, insufficient or incorrect information, medical & health issues and criminal history will lead to visa rejections.

There is no appeal process. If you feel there is additional information that should be considered related to the visa decision, or there are significant changes in your circumstances since your last application, you may reapply for a visa.
